CatLog data
CatLog is a catalog of enzyme kinetics values (kcat, Km and kcat/Km) with the paper each one comes from. This snapshot (2026-10-24) holds 190,222 records for 5,196 EC numbers and 6,758 organisms.
CatLog read 98,324 of them from 6,391 papers: each value was read from the paper by an AI model and checked against the paper by a second, separate AI run, and code converted the units; each record keeps the line the paper prints.
The other records are not yet re-read: they are from CatLog's earlier version, built from the enzyme databases (BRENDA, SABIO-RK, UniProt, the Open Enzyme Database, SKiD, STRENDA DB) and partly checked against the papers, and are replaced when CatLog reads their paper. Every value read from the paper is compared with what those databases list for the same paper.
Records from a database keep its license: 8,299 records from SABIO-RK are under SABIO-RK terms (free for academic use; see sabiork.h-its.org); 4,029 records from SKiD (Structure-Oriented Kinetics Database) are under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0. CatLog's compilation is under CC BY 4.0.
